Résumé : Leur septième album s'annonce comme le plus maîtrisé et abouti du quatuor de Perth. Il contient les fulgurances les plus pop du groupe, tout en conservant leur goût des expérimentations. Tout comme le précédent opus, il a été produit par Kevin Parker dans son studio. Cependant, là ou Man, it feels like space again (2015) était une compilation brute de leurs penchants garage et psyché, ce disque se veut être un ambitieux voyage, en technicolor, qui montre l'arrivée à maturité de Pond.
