Résumé Ils font partie de ces groupes mythiques qui auront marqué l'histoire du rock moderne. Formé dans les années 80 dans l'état de l'Oklahoma - dont ils sont d'ailleurs auteurs de l'hymne - The Flaming Lips sortent ici leur treizième album studio après quatre ans de silence. Quatre ans pendant lesquels le groupe aura été hyperactif : un album de reprise de Dark side of the moon en 2010 avec Henry Rollins et Peaches, un single par mois en 2011 avec, entre autre, Neon Indian, Prefuse 73, Sean Lennon, Yoko Ono et un album de collaborations en 2012.
