Résumé La musique joue un rôle très important dans Birdman. La bande originale a été composée et interprétée par Antonio Sanchez, batteur renommé au sein du Pat Metheny Unity Group. C'est une grande première : ici la batterie est l'unique instrument. Elle apporte du rythme et du mouvement à cette expérience visuelle unique. L'album contient également une sélection de pièces de musique classique : Mahler, Tchaïkovski, Ravel, Adams, Rachmaninov.
