Résumé Après la sortie du cathartique et salvateur Some say I so I say light paru en 2013, Obaro Ejimiwe va de l'avant avec cet album qui sonne comme un retour aux sources, mais aussi un nouveau départ. En abordant des thèmes qui le touchent personnellement, il a voulu les traduire d'un point de vue universel avec pour but de transmettre ce message : quelque soient les difficultés de la vie, rien n'est impossible à qui souhaite accomplir de grandes choses. C'est en tout cas ce qu'il a appliqué avec Shedding skin en réalisant un album cohérent et émouvant.
