Résumé Ce coffret de 23CDs propose de suivre les Isley Brothers à travers leur évolution, depuis leurs débuts en tant que groupe de doo-wop/gospel dans les années 1950 jusqu'à leur succès en tant que l'un des groupes festifs les plus influents de la scène R&B. Cette anthologie définitive a été compilée et produite par Leo Sacks, co-produit par Jeffrey James et Jeremy Holiday. Elle a été masterisée à partir des bandes analogiques originales par le légendaire Mark Wilder aux studios Battery et contient au total 84 titres rares et inédits. Ce coffret propose aussi pour la première fois dans son intégralité, le célèbre et introuvable album du groupe : Wild in Woodstock : The Isley Brothers live at Bearsville Sound Studio 1980.
