Résumé : Après le London Jazz Composers Orchestra et le New Orchestra, voici qu'entre en scène le non moins virtuose ensemble international de Barry Guy, inauguré d'une première oeuvre de 71'. Rendant hommage à Guernica de Pablo Picasso, ce linceul bleu nous rappelle fort opportunément que la fameuse peinture-tapisserie fut recouverte d'un drap bleu lorsque Colin Powell prononça la déclaration des Etats-Unis d'envahir l'Iraq à l'ONU à New York en 2003.
