Tout comme son prédécesseur, Wildflower est un patchwork musical, un véritable voyage initatique allant de Moodog, à The Cosmic Rays, Sun Ra ou encore Biz Markie. En avant-goût, le groupe a dévoilé Frankie Sinatra, titre carnavalesque avec la participation de Danny Brown, MF Doom et les artistes de calypso Wilmoth Houdini, Rodgers & Hammerstein. Wildflower regorge de collaborations en tout genre : Camp Lo, Jonathan Donahue (Mercury Rev), Toro y Moi, Jonti Danimals, Jennifer Herrema (Royal Trux), Warren Ellis (Dirty Three, The Bad Seeds), Father John Misty.
