Résumé : Avec leur précédent LP, Lore sorti en 2015, les trois membres avaient déjà mis à mal les règles du stoner-rock. Cet album, écrit après l'énorme tournée faisant suite à la sortie de Lore, bouleverse encore les règles avec 6 titres massifs entre stoner-rock et rock progressif. Le trio a invité des guests afin d'élargir sa palette sonore comme Michael Samos à la guitare/pedal steel et Mike Risberg aux claviers. Le son d'Elder est encore plus large et imposant avec des influences allant de King Crimson, Yes et Pink Floyd à Motorpsycho et 35007.
