Résumé La percussionniste japonaise s'attaque ici aux Suites pour violoncelle et Sonates pour violon de Jean-Sébastien Bach pour son quatrième enregistrement avec Linn. Kuniko apporte sa touche personnelle à ces oeuvres très célèbres et pointues. La sensibilité de l'artiste est ici particulièrement dévoilée notamment avec un instrument tel que le marimba qui donne à ces interprétations une atmosphère épurée. Kuniko fut acclamée pour son interprétation de la Sonate pour violon en sol mineur de Bach lors du Concours International de marimba Leigh Howard Steven en 1995. Pendant sa tournée de concerts en 2016, elle a interprété des oeuvres de cet album donnant à ses fans la possibilité d'entendre ces oeuvres en live dans le monde entier. Elle est une soliste reconnue mondialement pour sa virtuosité stupéfiante, sa grande connaissance musicale, son style élégant et expressif. Sa technicité est parfaite à la fois au clavier et sur les instruments de percussion.
