Résumé Un jour de 1970 alors qu'il n'avait que vingt ans, Rick Estrin eu l'occasion de jouer de l'harmonica avec Muddy Waters et son band au Sutherland Hôtel à Chicago. Durant la pause, Muddy Waters appela Estrin et se prenant la tête avec ses mains il s'exclama : "D'où sors tu, gars ! Tu as le son, gars ! Tu joues comme un homme, gars !" De nos jours, Rick Estrin se classe parmi les meilleurs harmonicistes, chanteurs et compositeurs de la planète blues. Son jeu se situe dans la continuité de ses maîtres : Sonny Boy Williamson II et Little Walter Jacobs, mais contribue également à faire évoluer l'instrument et la tradition.
