Résumé En juillet 1973, Blue Note Records se rend à Montreux, en Suisse, afin de présenter plusieurs stars du label au Montreux Jazz Festival. Bobby Hutcherson, Ronnie Foster, Bobbi Humphrey et Marlena Shaw ont chacun dévoilé un album live suite à leur performance, tous intitulés Live : Cookin' with Blue Note at Montreux. Près de 50 ans plus tard, cet enregistrement de l'ensemble dynamique du grand trompettiste est officiellement publié pour la toute première fois à l'occasion de ce qui aurait été le 90e anniversaire de Byrd : le 9 décembre 2022.
